Our FAA Certified Drone Pilot
John Mortland is a retired Air Force Command Pilot holding an Air Traffic Pilot (ATP) rating and a Remote Pilot Certification (Part 107). One of the many aircraft he flew in the Air Force was the OC-135B, a photo reconnaissance platform. He brings this experience, expertise and attention to detail to the drone business.
We utilize one of the industry’s most sophisticated drones, the DJI Inspire 2. This allows us to offer 5.2K video and 24MP still images. This drone is dual-controlled, which gives John the ability to focus on the safe operation of the drone while Don concentrates on the award-winning images he’s become famous for.
Do you have a client who wants a drone shot but you want to retain the creative control? The dual control system gives us the ability for John to operate the drone while YOU operate the camera system. With a little training, we can educate you on how to capture your own visions.
